Be an Area Chair!

Help coordinate the Harvard admissions process!

The admissions process at Harvard is more than just interviewing. The Admissions Office also work with local Clubs to reach out into communities to engage local schools and attract prospective applicants. Alumni have the pleasure of impacting their own community and forging ties between their neighbors and Harvard.

In addition to interviewing students, the Schools and Scholarships Committee of the Harvard Club of Southern Connecticut performs other essential tasks, such as:

• Attending local college fairs

• Organizing the annual information session for prospective applicants

• Recruiting and training new interviewers

• Assigning student interviews

This work has a different calendar and set of responsibilities than interviewing and is critical to the functioning of the admissions process.
