Harvard club "Apizza challenge"

You’ve all heard of Frank Pepe’s – but what about the others you keep seeing ranked as Best of New Haven, the Pizza Capital of the World? We invite you to join us for an Apizza Challenge of two top-rated New Haven contenders: Modern Apizza and Da Legna at Nolo.

We’ll start at Modern, dine on their most popular pizzas (with options ranging from meat-lovers to vegetarian and gluten-free) and then stroll over/walk off round 1 to Da Legna at Nolo to rate the challenger's pies (with Italian wine!) We’ll debate the merits of each crust (flavor, thickness - does it require the embarrassing fork?), sauce, cheese, toppings ratios and overall vibe.

 

This Apizza Challenge is not to be missed!
